The Only Cuba DMC Focused on the U.S. Incentive Market
Cuba Incentive Travel Associates (CITA) is the only Cuba DMC focused exclusively on the U.S. meetings and incentive market.
Prompted by the interest of an incentive client, CITA founder Scott Andrews first traveled to Cuba several years ago to determine its viability for incentive travel. The appeal was immediately evident. This introduction to Havana spurred a desire to provide U.S. planners with a clear path to high-quality, turnkey incentive travel to Cuba. CITA worked for several years with Cuban state-owned agencies to develop their incentive travel department and qualify Cuban land program offerings prior to its 2015 introduction to the meetings, incentives, conferencing and exhibitions (MICE) industry.
CITA is distinguished by our ability to align Cuban-supplied land offerings with U.S. meetings and incentive operational expectations. With over 25 years in the incentive travel industry, we are unique among Cuba DMCs. Our understanding of the quality demands and operational requirements of MICE planners allows us to create programs specifically designed for this market. Program offerings are limited to thoroughly vetted venues and providers, ensuring an incentive quality experience for clients.
CITA provides a calendar of FAM and site visit opportunities to help U.S. meetings and incentive travel buyers learn about and propose Cuba to their clients. Join our mailing list to stay informed about Cuba, developments in travel regulations and upcoming FAM and site visit opportunities.
Specializing in Legal U.S. Incentive Travel to Cuba
CITA provides incentive quality experiences in full compliance with U.S. regulations for legal travel to Cuba.
Long enjoyed by travelers around the world, Havana has been nearly inaccessible to U.S. travelers. The U.S. government recently eased restrictions on travel to Cuba, creating immediate and growing demand from U.S. groups. As U.S. relations with Cuba continue to evolve, so do legal requirements set by the U.S. and Cuban governments. CITA stays up-to-date with all requirements that apply to U.S. passport holders.
We remain informed on how laws affect suppliers, offerings and incentive programs to ensure every program meets current legal mandates. CITA streamlines the planning process to provide high quality, legal travel programs for meetings and incentive clients.
Providing Turnkey DMC Services
From planning to operation, CITA offers extensive support for MICE professionals and their clients. Our turnkey service includes all considerations for U.S. incentive travel to Cuba.
When planning Cuba travel programs, all accommodations and activities must be procured through state agencies. CITA works closely with these agencies and has developed partnerships with on-site suppliers to ensure all incentive travel programs are developed through the proper legal channels. To this, we add high touch client service and qualification of all itinerary items to ensure they meet incentive industry standards, and the needs of your clients.
CITA works to develop longstanding relationships by providing exceptional support and service to our meetings and incentive buyers, and their clients.
